About
A passionate software engineer and CS student focused on building user-friendly mobile and robust backend applications, solving real-world problems.
Research Focus
Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) and Android development for humanoid robots.
Biography
My work at the JKUAT Social Robotics Lab focuses on developing Android applications for Aldebaran humanoid robots, especially Pepper and NAO, and researching Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) in learning and assistive settings. The work explores grounded AI approaches that connect robot dialogue to verified knowledge sources for safer, more reliable interaction. It also includes on-device AI development, such as running computer vision models locally for real-time perception without network dependence, while improving usability through well-designed mobile interfaces and state-driven interaction flows.
